A restaurant named for Sachiko.
Elegance. Warmth. A table set for everyone.
She believed food was love made visible.
Sachiko — "Sachi" to those who knew her best — was the heart of every gathering. Whether it was a holiday feast or a quiet Tuesday dinner, her table was always open. She believed that food made with intention becomes something more than food. It becomes a blessing.
Born in Osaka and raised in a family of home cooks, Sachiko brought the precision of Japanese technique and the warmth of Midwestern hospitality to every meal. Her sushi wasn't fussy — it was perfect. Simple, fresh, and made with a quiet elegance that made everyone feel special.
"A happy tummy, a happy heart — that was always Sachi's way."
When we opened this little corner of Maple Grove in 2018, there was only one name that felt right. Sachi Sushi is her tribute — and her legacy. Every roll we make carries her spirit: generous, graceful, and unforgettable.
What Sachiko taught us
Fresh Daily
Never yesterday's fish. Never yesterday's effort. Same standard she held herself to.
Made by Hand
No machines. No shortcuts. Every roll pressed with the same care she used for her family.
Grace in Every Detail
From the arrangement on the plate to the warmth of the welcome — nothing is accidental.
Loved by Everyone
Sachiko never met a stranger. Neither will you.
A glimpse into our world
"Every guest is treated like family. That's not a motto. It's a promise."
